We have noticed that more and more brides are wanting to create their own wedding flowers, this might be the whole shabang or just some of the florals like the table flowers. It can be a really fun experience with friends and family and makes for a very personal wedding, however it can also be very stressful if not thought through thoroughly and planned well. That’s where our DIY Wedding Workshops can help.
There is more to floristry than ‘playing with pretty flowers’. Planning is key; which flowers are in season, what lasts well, how many stems are required, when do you need to order, how long should it take and how can they be transported?
By doing one of our workshops we will cover all those questions and show you how to create a simple hand tied bouquet, buttonhole, the basics for a flower crown and discuss various table centre designs.
We offer these workshops on a 1:1 basis (but can take 2 people) for £175 including all materials & light refreshments. You will get to take a design home too. They take place in my studio, near Rye from 10am – 3pm (or times to suit), dates to be mutually agreed.
If you wish to do a group workshop with friends or family members please email me for the extra cost and location.
